Dr. Kathy Christoforou is a scientific coordinator at the Cyprus Institute, working primarily on the SimEA ERA-chair project. She completed her undergraduate, honours, and masters degrees in chemistry at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and her PhD at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Prof David Spring. Her PhD focused on two very different yet current research areas within the field of drug design and developement, namely diversity-oriented syntheses and fragment-based approaches, both within the context of anticancer therapeutics. |
